Back Acres Farm offers riding lessons to all levels of riders who come from a wide variety of riding backgrounds. Our Massachusetts licensed riding instructor has over 30 years of experience teaching children at camps and riding schools, teaching college students at Dartmouth and Mount Holyoke Colleges, and working with adult amateurs of all abilities. She is a lifelong rider who finds great joy in riding, teaching, and all aspects of horsemanship. She is particularly fond of teaching folks who are returning to riding after a long time out of the saddle.

At Back Acres Farm we focus on safety, compassionate horsemanship, and finding a way to bring riding into the lives of those who want to be able to enjoy horses. Whether a rider is five or 50 years old, whether the goal is to compete in the dressage, hunter, or eventing arenas, challenge yourself physically, go on a trail ride or make new riding friends, we have the horses, ponies and professional staff to get you there. We also have some leasing and half-leasing options and would love to work with you to design a program that fits your lifestyle, no matter what your experience or goals.
